Performances of the very popular Rhythms of the Pride Lands show have been cancelled at Disneyland Paris for the foreseeable future. The show which recommenced on 15th August at the Frontierland Theatre, as part of the amended Lion King and Jungle Festival this summer.
The show was expected to run until the end of September but has abruptly been cancelled. This coincides with the majority of Paris being declared a ‘red’ zone with a significant spike in COVID-19 cases. It is unknown whether the cancellation is based on government as this show uses an indoor venue or if the performers have been directly been effected by Coronavirus.
The launch of another show, Jungle Book Jive, was also postponed last weekend after a number of performers had reported having tested positive for COVID-19.
It is unclear at this stage if either show will return to the parks.
